3 Days - Main Salmon River Adventure

This exciting adventure begins at Vinegar Creek at the western end of the Frank Church Wilderness, and ends at Slate Creek. We recommend that you arrive in Riggins the night before your trip begins, and plan for lodging after your trip is complete on the third day. On the morning of your trip, we will meet you at Epley’s Headquarters on the North side of Riggins where you will meet your guide and pack your dry bag. The first day of your adventure begins above Riggins, where the pine trees come down to the river's edge. The canyon walls are steep and beautiful, and there is a good chance you might see some wildlife. We will break for a delicious deli-style lunch, and then continue on our beautiful and exciting journey. At the conclusion of each day you will be served a delicious dinner prepared by your guide. Your guide will pamper you while you will have the time to fish, take a hike, swim, or just relax. Because the Salmon River is free-flowing, it offers beautifully pristine white sandy beaches of the best quality for your camping enjoyment. Not to worry – we will set up all of your equipment for you! A complimentary Epley's t-shirt is also included!

3 Day Adventure Itinerary

Departs at: 8:00a.m.

Your three day adventure will begin in Riggins at Epley's Headquarters at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time. Your trip will consist of 45 miles on the beautiful Salmon River. We will return at approximately 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on the third day depending upon the level of the water. We will be stopping along the way to serve you deli-style lunches, and a delicious dinner will be served by your guide on nights one, and two. A complimentary Epley's t-shirt is also included.
